Halloween Celebration

Halloween at CMA is a full day of costumes, games, and fun! Students arrive at school in their Halloween costumes and spend the day enjoying activities together, including dancing, games, a scavenger hunt, pumpkin carving, the always-popular donut hang, and other Halloween festivities. The celebration wraps up with a Halloween parade and costume awards.

There are plenty of sweets involved in the day, and candy donations from families are always welcome. If your child follows a restricted diet or has specific dietary needs, families are welcome to make arrangements with the school to provide appropriate substitutions so they can still take part in the fun.

Because Carmel is a community of children and adolescents of many different ages, we ask families to help students choose costumes that are appropriate to be seen and enjoyed by all members of our school community.

Students may be picked up at their regularly scheduled time. Families who have evening trick-or-treating plans are also welcome to arrange an earlier pickup so there is plenty of time to continue the Halloween fun at home!
