Barn Dance
Following our annual trip to Jonamac Orchard, the Carmel community gathers back at CMA for one of our favorite fall traditions, the Barn Dance! Families, friends, and alumni are all invited to join us from 4:30 PM until dusk for an evening of dancing, food, a bonfire, and time together. Western attire is always welcome, so feel free to pull out your boots, hats, and plaid!
In the weeks leading up to the Barn Dance, students spend time learning and practicing square dances so they’ll be ready to teach their families when the big evening arrives. Dancing begins at 4:45 PM, followed by dinner, more dancing, and plenty of time to visit and enjoy the evening together.
CMA will provide hot dogs and marshmallows, and families are invited to help complete our potluck dinner by bringing a dish to share. Potluck sign-ups will be available in the Family Entry and through a Google Form.
Whether you’re a current Carmel family, an alum returning to visit, or a friend of the school, come ready to dance, gather around the bonfire, share a meal, and spend a fall evening with the Carmel community.
